Diana Purchas

Diana has lived in West Cornwall for most of her life, graduating from Falmouth College of Arts in 1999.  In her often detailed collages and paintings she takes great pleasure in detail, particularly in the buildings of West Cornwall, often piling them up to create a new composition:   Chapel Street in Penzance, Lemon Street in Truro, Falmouth, St Ives, Marazion and St Michael’s Mount, Helston and Porthleven.

The Nature of Paper

Pam is a self taught paper artist taking inspiration from nature and in particular the diverse range of plant life found right here in Cornwall, from the traditional hedgerows to the sub tropical gardens. Working with different types of paper, alongside acrylic paints, inks and pastels, Pam recreates 3D sculptural flowers and miniature collectibles. Each piece is made by hand, using various methods and paper cutting techniques. Pam uses her own photographs, found botanical plates and the occasional real flower to inform her work, although she much prefers to leave the real thing for the bees, insects, and other people to enjoy

Rachel Stowe Jewellery

Rachel Stowe: I produce a range of quirky, stylish, and fun hand-dyed and hand-painted jewellery using various techniques including immerse dying and screen printing and resist dying. Rachel has a masters degree in Textiles from Birmingham University, a Masters in Education from Worcester University and a HND from Herefordshire Art College Process. Each item is completely unique and hand made, some of the complex products can take days, even weeks from concept to finished article. These truly are one off creation and the pinnacle of exclusivity.
