I have lived for the majority of my life in Cornwall, absorbing the beauty and natural connections of life around me. I enjoy working with many mediums in my art, but have a particular fascination and fondness for the mysteries of watercolour. I am drawn to representing that which I see around me, often inspired by the seasons, textures and colours that change so evocatively throughout the year. My emotional response often includes a sense of softness, familiarity and intensity only found from deep immersion with my subject. I enjoy teaching watercolour workshops locally.
